Tortoises Can Get Into Poopy Situations

Oh, bless this wonderful tortoise; he seems to be in somewhat the pickle! Apparently, the owner of this tortoise came in to discover her dear friend helplessly turned over on its back. Examining the situation, the original poster believes the turtle had done its business. The tortoise then managed to get some of its excrement on his foot and, in reaction, 'ran' in circles to attempt and clear it.

The tortoise apparently overworked himself and unintentionally turned around on his back. What happens to tortoises that manage to do this to themselves in the wild? We find ourselves wondering.
